STANDARD (Start at $399 (See below))
The STANDARD Rhode Island home inspection is based on the NACHI Standard Operating Procedure. (A link to a sample inspection report is provided.) During the inspection, I am on-site for about 3 - 4 hours (depending on the size and age of the house). I then use the remainder of that day to study all the photographs I have taken during the inspection, research potential code issues and review building “best practices” based on what I observed during the inspection, and to write the report. I make every attempt to issue the report to you via the internet and/or email before the end of the day. (If I am awaiting test results, i.e. radon, water etc., I will issue a draft report, then the final with test results included.) Other accommodations can be made upon request.
(1) Radon testing performed by a RI certified measurement consultant using a "Radalink Radon Monitor" (See: http://www.radalink.com/ )
(2) Lab costs for EPA and RI recommended well water testing for real estate transfers are around $150 with a normal 10 working day waiting period.
(3) Testing of well water for Radon performed by a RI certified measurement consultant during radon air test.
(4) Add $50 for each additional 500sqft.
